Welcome to 5th Grade!

Hello students and families! My name is Faith Tauriainen, and I’m so excited to be your 5th grade Reading and Social Studies teacher here at Madisonville Intermediate.

Our classroom is a place where curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning come together. I’m passionate about helping students grow as readers, thinkers, and young citizens of the world. Whether we’re diving into a great book or exploring history, my goal is to make learning meaningful, engaging, and fun.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, baking, cooking, golfing, hiking, traveling, scuba diving, and spending time with my family. I bring those passions into the classroom whenever I can to make learning more personal and connected.

I truly believe that strong communication and parent involvement are key to student success. When teachers and families work together, we create the best support system for our students to thrive.
