Hello, my name is Deanna Harrison.  I am so excited to teach your student this year!  This will be my 5th year at Madisonville Intermediate School.  I currently teach Reading and Social Studies.  I graduated from Willis High School and I have a bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University.  I am happily married to my husband ,Trey, and we have two children, Emillie and Will, who are both students here at MCISD.  I love the outdoors and spending time with my family.  We enjoy camping, fishing, swimming, and roasting smores by the campfire. 

The best way to keep up with your student is to check your student's planner daily.  All of your student's teachers will use the daily planner as a way of communication with you.  We also send out Tuesday folders each week.  In these folders you will find important information pertaining to your student. It is important to check these folders each week and return any items that need to be returned to the teachers. 

For Reading class, students are expected to read twenty minutes each night and have their planner signed daily.
